where the game reigns supreme

For those who love golf, Grande Dunes is where the game reigns supreme. One of the world's most revered and experienced design teams have created a fantastic South Carolina golf course, boasting unparalleled grandeur and intrigue. Discover rolling green fairways and picturesque views from every hole of the Grande Dunes Resort Club. Exercise your handicap on this Myrtle Beach golf course.

Grande Dunes Resort Club created by Roger G. Rulewich, offers a dramatic design featuring seven holes that play along the Intracoastal Waterway. With its numerous elevation changes, wide Bermuda fairways, generous bent grass greens, and more than 34 acres of freshwater lakes, this course sets a new standard for world-class play. Over 7,600 yards from tip to tip make this one of the longest courses on the East Coast.

This golf course has huge fairways and massive greens and they are guarded by some colossal bunkers and this gives an idea of the scale of the challenges at this course – it is the longest course in Myrtle Beach. The difficulty comes in the fact that there is a profusion of clever water hazards which drown nearly every hole out here – especially at the 8th and 14th holes and also a pair of all carry par 3s which come in at more than 240 yards. The ball retrievers that were invented for these holes feature 2 forced carries, and the par-5 at 17th hole is where water lurks for any shot that has been tugged even slightly towards the left. On the optimistic side there are six sets of tees that allow you to limit your pain.

One of the reasons why PGA Magazine named Grande Dunes one of the great South Carolina golf courses is the Resort Club, which plays along the Intracoastal Waterway and provides breathtaking views.
